The AAPPR Commitment

AAPPR is redefining the industry as the only professional organization supporting leaders and influencers of recruitment.   We continue to be the leading voice in the physician and provider recruitment continuum, offering thought-leadership on all topics related to healthcare recruitment onboarding, and retention.

We aim to impact health care access through education, research, and the elevation of the physician and provider recruitment industry. We empower industry experts through education, research, and engagement. Through strategic imperatives, AAPPR impacts healthcare access through education, research, and industry elevation, with a vision of ensuring everyone has access to care. Our values of Respect, Equity, Collaboration, Responsibility, Understanding, Inclusion, and Trust (RECRUIT) underpin our commitment to these strategic goals.

This Virtual Resource Center is an illustration and extension of our values and a demonstration of our commitment to pursue excellence and support the membership and AAPPR network with continued thought-leadership and elevation.

The CPRP-DEI Certification

The Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) Certification is an excellent investment in your career. Not only does it set you on the pathway to lifelong learning, but it also establishes your expertise among your colleagues in a highly specialized field. Don’t miss this opportunity to join an elite group of professionals who are leaders in the physician and provider recruitment profession with this nationally recognized certification. It is required before pursuing the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Micro Certification.

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Micro Certification Course provides an advanced certification for those already holding a current CPRP certification and will develop skills for effective diversity recruitment and be able to demonstrate skills and leadership proficiency in this area, further fostering a new ability to influence effective DEI and diversity recruitment strategies to support and drive systemic change. While other courses may claim to cover this topic, you can be assured that this content has been peer reviewed by fellow physician/provider recruiters and approved by the AAPPR Board of Directors.

This content is built from the existing CPRP Curriculum. Successful completion of the CPRP program will demonstrate your expertise in the entire recruitment continuum from sourcing through onboarding and retention, the ability to use data for strategic decision making, the basics of workforce planning and the use of effective communication to create successful business relationships with an emphasis on DEI mastery.
