What is included in the Profile section?
The Profile section allows users to make changes to their Academy profile information such as, editing their password, time zone, and interest categories. Users are encouraged to input their interest level for each category to help personalize the site catalog and product listings.
What is the My Dashboard section?
The My Dashboard section displays any products you have purchased or registered for. Users can search through the list of products by format, status, certificate or by product type. If a product includes a certificate received upon completion, the certificate will be available for download from this section. The course transcript that lists out all completed products can be downloaded as PDF file from the Transcript / Achievements page within the My Dashboard section.
How do I print my CPRP certificate?
On the Transcripts / Achievements tab under My Dashboard, click the Certifications button. Use the “Print” button next to your CPRP certification listed in the “Earned” section.
How do I check my current number of CEs?
On the Transcripts / Achievements tab under My Dashboard. When transitioning to the new AAPPR Academy, CE credits from the last three years were carried over for you.
How do I add AAPPR-approved CE credits to my transcript?
AAPPR credits (from annual conferences, webinars, etc.) are automatically added to the professional development section of your profile on a monthly basis. You may log continuing education credits from AAPPR roundtables and programs sponsored by other AAPPR-approved organizations (such as your local Affiliate) as you earn them.
On the Transcripts / Achievements tab under My Dashboard, click the Transcript/Achievements button. Click the “Add Additional Credits/Experience” button to enter credits from AAPPR-approved providers. Click the “Include on download transcript,” complete all the required fields, and upload proof of completion. Proof of completion can include a certificate of participation that indicates how many credits were awarded or an agenda from the event.
Those that have earned an AAPPR certification, must also check the “Apply towards certification” box to apply the credits toward your certification renewal. Choose the appropriate certification from the Certification drop-down menu and select “Elective” in the Fulfill Product field.
How do I recertify, and what are the requirements?
CPRP status will be valid for three years from the date of completion. Renewal will be required three years after your expiration date.
The following criteria must be met to complete your CPRP renewal:
- Be a current member of AAPPR in good standing
- Obtain a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education from AAPPR-approved organizations over the three-year period since CPRP completion or previous renewal
- Complete the recertification survey and pay the $25 fee
You can begin your recertification activities any time during the three years prior to your expiration. To do so, visit Certifications from the My Dashboard section of the site. Click the Recertify button next to your earned CPRP certification. Once enrolled in the recertification, it will appear in the In-Progress section of the Certifications page.
You can complete the 24 continuing education credits at your convenience during the 3-year certification period. AAPPR credits (from annual conferences, webinars, etc.) are automatically added to the professional development section of your profile on a monthly basis. You may log continuing education credits from AAPPR roundtables and programs sponsored by other AAPPR-approved organizations (such as your local Affiliate) as you earn them. The last step of the process is to complete the recertification survey and pay the $25 processing fee.
