Redefining Recruitment to Retention

AAPPR Live Webinar: Insights from Women in Medicine: Advancing DE&I Initiatives Presented by Health eCareers

Health eCareers recently surveyed women in the medical field to explore their unique experiences, perceptions, and attitudes. As organizations look to strengthen their DE&I practices, attract and retain talent, understanding women physicians–who are a growing segment nearing 40% of the total physician population–is paramount. The survey found that 30% of women have experienced gender discrimination or bias in the workplace and almost 50% reported discrimination with patient interactions. In this webinar, we will share key findings and takeaways from the survey to help employers and recruiters understand how to better attract and retain women in medicine and update policies that may be lacking.
