Physician recruiters are facing unprecedented demand, shrinking candidate pools, constant stakeholder pressure, and the ongoing complexity of locum tenens staffing—often while being asked to do more with fewer resources. Burnout is no longer just a personal challenge; it’s a growing organizational risk.
In this AAPPR-exclusive webinar, healthcare recruitment and HR leaders join HWL workforce experts to examine physician recruiter burnout through two critical lenses: the operational strain of managing physician demand, vendors, and locum coverage, and the people-development perspective focused on sustainability, engagement, and retention within recruitment teams.
The conversation will explore how a well-structured locum tenens management strategy can reduce administrative burden, streamline processes, and restore focus on high-impact work such as strategic recruitment and relationship-building.
Attendees will gain practical insights, real-world examples, and actionable strategies to help reduce burnout, support recruiter well-being, and improve overall recruitment outcomes.
